How exactly did Jesus fulfill the law NOT the prophecies.

theres a clear difference between prophecies (predictions of future events) and laws(stuff you should and shouldnt do).. now since xians always says jesus fullfilled the law, how does one fullfill a bunch of requirements like dont murder, dont worship idols, shave your beard like this etc.. there are 613 laws in the torah, jewish rabbis have done all the hard work and we have a nice list on wiki.. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/613_mitzvot.

im confused which of those some how select a unique individual to be the unique messiah ?

then again there were many messiahs, every king and priest of israel and judea was a messiah.

I'm puzzled as to why mP would be offended by something he himself doesn't even believe is a sin in the first place.

I don't expect mP to tell the truth, after all he's not in court and doesn't believe he can be judged for it.

Why does he condemn others for it, if it's not a sin?

mP is a great example of the type (mindset) that Jesus did NOT come for. He came to cause sinners to repent. As Jews the Pharisees saw the tax collectors as sinners because they stole from the people.

Mat 9:12 But when he heard it, he said, "Those who are well have no need of a physician, but those who are sick.13 Go and learn what this means, 'I desire mercy, and not sacrifice.' For I came not to call the righteous, but sinners."

I love this translation.

Mat 9:12 When Jesus heard that, he said, "Healthy people don't need a doctor; those who are sick do. 13 Learn what this means: 'I want mercy, not sacrifices.' I've come to call sinners, not people who think they have God's approval."

He thinks he can force God to give his approval on a “technicality”. I guess he thinks God's love can be demanded.

If by the law you mean the law of Moses (Genesis, Exodus, Leviticus, Numbers, Deuteronomy), the law pointed to Jesus. The law was incomplete in that it was only meant to show our need for Christ’s acceptability to God the Father.

The first clear prophesy of Christ is found in Genesis

Gen 3:15 I will put enmity between you and the woman, and between your offspring and her offspring; he shall bruise your head, and you shall bruise his heel."

The rest of the “law of Moses” was to point to that fulfillment. Jews still await this fulfillment (during the Temple periods it was the hope of every Jewish woman to be the one who delivered this promise), Christians believe it is fulfilled in Christ.

Im sorry buying animals for sacrifice and giving gold to the temple were monetary fines.

And that is exactly the reason Jesus died. He was the perfect sacrifice, offered to those whom he loved.

Heb 7:27 He has no need, like those high priests, to offer sacrifices daily, first for his own sins and then for those of the people, since he did this once for all when he offered up himself.

Heb 9:11 But when Christ appeared as a high priest of the good things that have come, then through the greater and more perfect tent (not made with hands, that is, not of this creation) 12 he entered once for all into the holy places, not by means of the blood of goats and calves but by means of his own blood, thus securing an eternal redemption.

You keep trying to justify yourself by telling me that stealing from your boss or lying aren’t sins against God, when you know they are. Why do you lie to yourself?

Then you say:

Show me where Fornication or adultery is a crime, and ill show you a dozen places where heroes fornicate to their hearts content and god still loves them.

King Davids crime was he killed the husband, not that he screwed his wife. If we read Nathans parable thats basically teh core element in the story. David is taking the woman from a man not that he is screwing her.

King Saul and Samuel roll around naked in Chronicles all night, and they were prophecying according to the text. I can find the scirpture if you want late ron.

And all that is making MY point. All men sin. All men need a Savior and a Mediator, between God the Father and man. Jesus died to be the perfect sacrifice for all time for those whom he loved and who believed in Him.

I just checked the 613 laws in the OT and no where does it say lying is a sin. The closest is when being a witness to court, but ive never been to court and have never lied there, so i have not broken that law. Technicality sure, but thats what it says.

There you go again, trying to add words to the bible. Putting words in God’s mouth is a sin as well. It says nothing about “court” you are inserting that into the text yourself.

How do you count good righteous acts , where are the costs for bad things.

The question has nothing to do with me. You should be asking; How does God "count good righteous acts"?

THis is starting to sound like a business that the catholics ran and became very rich and was called indulgencies. This is the very nonense the protestantsare protesting against this sort of account keeping and money charging.

Money has nothing to do with righteousness. The only source of righteous is God

Im not saying im perfect but ive never sinned, no rapes, no murders, no bank robberies and im pretty sure most of society is just the same.

Have you ever lied? Called someone a name? Fornicate? Waste time, steal from work? They're sins too.
